Finished basement ideas are the genesis of all basement finishing projects. Collecting ideas will inspire you to start your basement project and ensure that you're happy with the results. What type of vibe do you want your basement to have, what type of functionality should it provide?
Pinterest is an online cork board for saving, organizing and sharing your basement finishing ideas. It's a great way to collect all of your ideas into one place.
Adding Finished Basement Ideas to Pinterest
When you're browsing the web and come across a room or decorating idea that you really like you can "pin it" to your Pinterest board. Any image on any website can be pinned. Pinterest also stores a link to the original web site so that you can always go back to the source article.
Checking out other people's ideas
You can also check out other people's pins by browsing their boards or by subscribing to updates. You can comment on your pins or re-pin other people's images. Pinned images are typically grouped by content or subject matter so by finding one you can quickly dig into other basement ideas.
You can check out all of the finished basement ideas that I've collected by visiting my Pinterest board. Once you have a Pinterest account, subscribe to my board, so you can be notified of all the latest basement ideas. I usually add 1 or 2 a week, depending on what I find.
Here are just a few of my Pinterest boards:
When you have your Pinterest board setup, please let me know, I'd love to subscribe to your ideas and re-pin some for the group.
Cheers -
Jason
Please send me an invite for pinterest. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks Michelle! Your invite is on it's way. Let me know if there's a particular topic you'd like to see. - Jason
Just for women? I love home related pinboards; men or women. Looking forward to more.
Let's do it. I'm inspired. (To hire someone.)
why are you so dead set against 6 panel hollow core doors?
Hey John - I don't mind the 6 panel part, I just really dislike hollow-core doors. Solid core doors aren't that much more and they just feel so much more substantial. It's worth the money and effort to get them. - Jason
